1 in. x 50 yds. Felt Guard Masking Tape is specifically designed to cover window felt strips, seals, and interior trim parts.

It provides effective protection against contamination from felt gaskets during tint installation.

Note: Some vehicles use lubricated felt gaskets, which can prevent tape from sticking.

To fix this, spray firm-hold hair spray, let it dry, and then apply our felt guard tape.

We’ve found that some vehicle manufacturers use window felt gaskets with a lubricated coating that can prevent tape from adhering properly.
A helpful solution is to spray the area with firm-hold hair spray, let it dry for a minute, and then apply our felt guard tape for better adhesion.
